Leifur Guðmundsson

Leifur Guðmundsson has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Leifur is currently serving as the Vice President of Technical Operations at Icelandair. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Technical Operations at Loftleidir Icelandic from 2019 to 2021. Leifur also held the position of Director of Technical Operations at Air Iceland/Flugfélag Íslands from 2017 to 2019. Leifur has also worked as the VP Fleet at Avion Express from 2014 to 2017. Before that, they served as the Continuing Airworthiness Director at Smart Lynx Airlines from 2009 to 2014. In their earlier career, they worked at Air Iceland as the Continuing Airworthiness Manager from 2007 to 2009 and as the Logistics Manager from 2005 to 2007.
