Dylan Banks

Dylan Banks has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dylan founded Iceni Labs in 2013, an innovation commercialization enterprise with a focus on research, development, testing, and manufacturing. At Iceni Labs, Dylan served as the CKO and aimed to improve the success of early-stage technologies.

In 2018, Dylan joined Liberty Produce, a farming and technology company that specializes in indoor vertical farming systems. As the CKO, they contributed to the company's vision of developing sustainable farming technologies to meet future food requirements without harming the planet.

Prior to their role at Iceni Labs, Dylan was the Director of Vorpal Technologies Limited from 2012 to 2014. Dylan also worked as a Research Fellow in Biologically Inspired Technology at Imperial College London from 2003 to 2012.

Before joining Imperial College London, Dylan worked as a Researcher at CAMBRIDGE DISPLAY TECHNOLOGY LIMITED from 2002 to 2003.

Dylan Banks obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Bio-Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Physics from Imperial College London, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Nanotechnology at the University of Leeds from 2001 to 2002. Dylan began their higher education journey at The University of Sheffield, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from 1997 to 2001. Their educational background before university is unspecified.
