David Valdez

David Valdez is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in product management, artificial intelligence, and geospatial technologies. Currently serving as Director of Product at ICEYE since February 2022, David specializes in strategic leadership, team building, advanced geospatial and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) technologies, and machine learning. Prior roles include Senior Staff Automation and AI Engineer at Lockheed Martin and Supervisory R&D Portfolio Manager at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, where David managed diverse teams and directed significant projects in machine learning and GEOINT data processing. Earlier career experience includes positions at Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and US Navy, complemented by advanced degrees in Systems Engineering and Management Information Systems.
