Kenisha Coon

Kenisha Coon is a highly experienced professional specializing in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within child welfare. Currently serving as a Special Projects Subject Matter Expert at ICF, Kenisha leads Race Equity initiatives and DEIB across various projects. As the founder of Kenisha Coon Consulting LLC and a small business owner at Lettering By Kenisha, Kenisha also creates bespoke modern calligraphy products. Previously, Kenisha contributed significantly as a DEI HR Manager for the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services, focusing on dismantling systemic racism in child welfare and advocating for equity. Kenisha's extensive experience includes roles in policy analysis, training development, and case management, alongside a strong educational background, including ongoing doctoral studies in industrial organizational psychology at Walden University.
