Yunus Koroglu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Yunus started their career as a Technical Support Representative at Support Techs LLC from August 2007 to April 2010. After that, they worked as an Academic Tutor at AJ Tutoring from July 2015 to June 2016. Yunus then became an Undergraduate Researcher at San Jose State University from March 2013 to April 2016.

In 2016, they held two roles simultaneously. Yunus worked as an Operations Manager at Mendel.ai from February 2016 to December 2016 and also as a Market Research Analyst at Azul Systems from November 2016 to December 2017.

Starting in 2017, Yunus began taking on freelance projects. Yunus worked on various projects such as rebuilding the community and registration website for United Community of Submitters 501c, creating a front-end project for WashMix, and optimizing an Airbnb simulation called FlairBnB. These freelance projects allowed him to showcase their skills in SQL, React, Redux, and other technologies.

In 2018, Yunus joined Walmart Labs as a Software Engineer II. During their time there, they led the Payment Redesign Project, which involved re-architecting an app with over 500 components and implementing wallet scripts for checkout options. Yunus also worked on various projects related to payments, including implementing fraud countermeasures, collaborating with external partners like Affirm and CapitalOne, and optimizing the overall speed of the app.

Most recently, Yunus joined iCIMS in 2020 as a Senior Software Engineer. Yunus is part of the Text Engagement (TE) team, where they work on multiple software components, including web apps, browser extensions, and an AI chat bot.

Throughout their career, Yunus has demonstrated their technical expertise, ability to contribute independently, and dedication to optimizing performance and user experience.

Yunus Koroglu's education history begins in 2010 when they attended De Anza College. Yunus studied Biotechnology and Engineering there until 2012, although they did not earn a degree from this institution. Following this, from 2012 to 2015, they attended San Jose State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Most recently, in 2018, Yunus attended Hack Reactor, where they completed an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive program focused on Software Engineering.
