Richard Anemone

Richard Anemone is a mental health counselor who has been helping individuals, families, and groups on Long Island and in New York City for over 10 years. Richard is currently the Senior Vice President of Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities at ICL, and they have also served as the President and CEO of Behavioral Mental Health Counseling PLLC and as the Director of Sheltering Arms Childrens and Family Services. Richard is dedicated to providing their patients with the best possible care and treatment, and they use standard mental health assessment and evaluation protocols to ensure that their patients are receiving the help they need. In addition to their counseling work, Richard is also an acclaimed training program provider, and they have been helping organizations throughout Long Island and New York City to grow and succeed for many years.

Richard Anemone has a Master's in Psychology from LIU Post, a certificate in management of non-profit organizations from Hofstra University, and an associate's degree from Nassau Community College.

The team of Richard Anemone, SVP, Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities, is responsible for the care and support of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The team includes a medical doctor, a support housing specialist, a residential treatment specialist, a quality and compliance officer, a chief operating officer, a strategic initiatives officer, and a transitional services specialist.
