Annemie Ribbens has a diverse and extensive work experience. Annemie started their career in 2007 as a Research Fellow at KU Leuven, where they also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and a PhD Researcher. During their time at KU Leuven, they gained expertise in medical image computing, Bayesian methods, segmentation, data construction, clustering, registration, classification, pattern recognition, longitudinal analysis, and imaging biomarkers. Annemie also had teaching responsibilities and supervised master thesis students.
In 2012, Annemie served as a Guest Researcher at University College London before becoming a Research Fellow at the same institution in 2013. Annemie then transitioned to icometrix in 2014, where they held various roles including Senior Researcher, Research Manager, VP Clinical Trials, and finally, VP Science, Evidence & Trials. Annemie'stenure at icometrix lasted until the present time, showcasing their dedication to and expertise in the field.
Annemie Ribbens completed an Internship at University College London in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a PhD in Engineering with a specialization in Medical Image Computing from KU Leuven from 2007 to 2012. Annemie also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics from KU Leuven from 2005 to 2007. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics from UHasselt from 2003 to 2005. Annemie'seducation journey began at Sint-Jozefinstituut, where they focused on Wetenschappen - Wiskunde (8u) from 1997 to 2003.
