Lauren Miller

Lauren Miller, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Currently, they serve as the Head of People at ICON, where they are responsible for leading the People department and overseeing various HR functions such as HR strategy, talent acquisition, compensation, talent management, benefits, payroll, HR business partnership, DEIB, new hire orientation, and onboarding. Lauren is also a member of the Executive team at ICON and serves as an HRBP for the Executive team. Their accomplishments in this role include creating and implementing the company's first benchmarking culture survey.

Prior to their role at ICON, Lauren worked as the VP of Talent at a company where they led talent acquisition and succession planning. In this role, they successfully brought 100% of recruiting in-house, resulting in a cost savings of $1 million. Lauren also built and implemented an effective recruiting process during their tenure.

Lauren's previous experiences include working as a Member at Chief, a private network aimed at empowering women executives, and serving as an Advisory Board Member at Austin Recruiters. Lauren has also held various roles at companies such as Tesla, Vungle, Atrium, Guerrero, Pretzel & Stouffer, Chartered, Northern Kentucky University, and the University of Cincinnati.

Lauren Miller, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. Lauren also possesses a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology acquired from Northern Kentucky University. In addition to their educational background, Lauren has obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification through SHRM in February 2023. Lauren is also a member of the SHRM Executive Network since January 2023.
