Brian Laughlin

Brian Laughlin has extensive work experience in the field of data science and communications. Brian is currently working as a Principal Clinical Data Scientist Lead at ICON plc since July 2021. Prior to this, Brian worked at PRA Health Sciences where they held various roles including Central Data Scientist, Associate Director, Manager of Strategic Communications, and Proposal Writer from 2011 to 2021. Brian also worked as a Freelance Medical Writer at Elsevier (Singapore) Pte Ltd in 2011 and as a Freelance Scientific Copyeditor at Edanz Group China from 2010 to 2011. Before that, they worked as a Freelance Linguist at Compass Languages from 2009 to 2011. Brian also has experience as an External Consultant at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in 2010 and as a Transcriptionist at Athens Student Business Services from 2009 to 2009.

Brian Laughlin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics and Chinese language from The University of Georgia, where they completed their undergraduate studies from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, in 2007, they studied Chinese language at the Beijing Institute of Education. Brian later pursued a Master of Science degree in Bioscience Regulatory Affairs from The Johns Hopkins University, which they obtained in 2010.
