Carol Burke is a seasoned professional in learning and development, currently serving as a Senior Learning and Development Partner at ICON plc since February 2024. Previously, Carol held significant roles at Meta, including Head of Recruiting Learning & Development for the EMEA region, where expertise in managing global learning programs for recruiting teams was demonstrated. Carol's extensive background includes positions such as Recruiting Operations Manager and Training Partner at Facebook, as well as General Manager at ePeople Recruitment, where management and mentorship of IT recruiters were key responsibilities. Early career highlights include serving as Associate Director at Hunter Marshal, focusing on team building and revenue maximization, and as an Account Executive at Jardine Lloyd Thompson, ensuring client satisfaction through effective account management. Carol is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Learning and Organisational Development at the National College of Ireland, having previously earned a BA in Insurance and European Studies from the University of Limerick.
