Chelsea Smith

Chelsea Smith (Swanson) is a seasoned clinical research professional with extensive experience in oncology and early phase clinical trials. Currently serving as a Senior Clinical Research Associate at ICON plc since June 2022, Chelsea has been involved in the management of multiple phase I, II, and III randomized clinical trials across 20+ sites in the US and Canada, ensuring protocol adherence and data integrity. Prior to this role, Chelsea held positions at PPD, where responsibilities included overseeing clinical trials in general medicine and vaccine studies, and at Peter J Meyers DO Medical Consulting PLLC, where Chelsea partnered to establish a research center for geriatric clinical trials.
