Elaine O'Donnell

Elaine O'Donnell has over two decades of work experience in the contract and commercial affairs field. Elaine began their career as a Clinical Data Co-Ordinator at Quintiles in 1998. In 2004, they joined ICON plc as a Business Development Manager and later transitioned into the role of Commercial Affairs Manager. From 2009 to 2023, they held various positions at ICON, including Senior Contracts Manager and Director of Contracts - ICR, Client Contract Services. Currently, they serve as a Senior Director Contracts at ICON plc.

Elaine O'Donnell holds a Diploma in High Performance Sales from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in 2017-2018. In 2016-2017, they also earned a Diploma in Strategy, Innovation, and Change from the same institution. Elaine received a Certificate in International Management from UCD Smurfit Business School in 2013. Additionally, they hold an MSc. in Food Biotechnology from the University of Ulster, which they completed in 1997-1998. Elaine completed their undergraduate studies at Trinity College Dublin, earning a B.A. in Microbiology from 1993 to 1997.
