John Cartwright

John Cartwright has over 30 years of experience in human resources. John has held various leadership roles in companies such as ICON plc, IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and Merck. At ICON plc, they served as the Head of Human Resources EMEA, leading the regional HR team and working on post-acquisition integration projects. At IBM, they were responsible for HR business development, managing HR consultants and overseeing acquisitions, divestments, and outsourcing engagements. John also played a key role in a major transformation program in Greater China Group, harmonizing HR programs, policies, and processes across divisions and geographies. Additionally, they worked on HR integration during IBM's acquisition of PwC Consulting. Prior to that, they held senior HR roles at PwC, Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, Merck, Bradford & Bingley, and Nat West.

John Cartwright received a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies from The University of Huddersfield, where they studied from 1986 to 1990.
