John Sheahan

John Sheahan has a diverse work experience in various finance and audit roles. John started their career as an Audit Trainee at Deloitte Ireland in 2003 and worked there until 2007. After that, they joined GOAL Global as a Finance Controls Officer from February 2007 to January 2008. In 2008, they worked at Traidlinks as a Finance Project Manager for a short period of time. Later that year, they joined ICON plc and held several finance positions, including Senior Internal Auditor, Internal Audit Manager, Finance Manager, Finance Director - EMEA, Finance Director - Global Process Owner Financial Accounting, and Senior Finance Director. John is currently working at ICON plc as the Vice President of Finance.

John Sheahan's education history includes obtaining a Master of Accounting (MACC) degree from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in 2003. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in International Commerce and Spanish at University College Dublin from 1997 to 2001. John also participated in an Erasmus exchange program at Facultat d'Economia, Universitat de València in 1999-2000. John attended Gonzaga College SJ from 1991 to 1997 for their earlier education. In 2004, John attained an ACA qualification from Chartered Accountants Ireland.
