Vanessa Tierney

Vanessa Tierney is a seasoned professional in clinical data management with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Senior Director of Clinical Data Management at ICON plc since June 2022, Vanessa previously held the position of Senior Director for Global Data Operations at PRA Health Sciences. Vanessa's career also includes significant roles at St Stephen's AIDS Trust as Biometrics Lead, and various freelance positions focused on clinical operations. With a robust background at GlaxoSmithKline, Vanessa advanced through multiple leadership positions, including Global Director of Data Quality & Data Management and Global Head of Clinical Pharmacology Data Sciences. Vanessa holds a BSc in Applied Biochemistry from Brunel University of London.
