Sonia LaFountain

Sonia LaFountain is a highly experienced executive with a focus on operations and partnership development in content-driven industries. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and SVP of Partnerships at iCrowdNewswire since January 2022, Sonia is responsible for overall operations and partnership initiatives for the innovative press release distribution service. In addition, Sonia holds the position of SVP of Partnerships and Operations at ContentEngine LLC, where key responsibilities include managing global operations teams and developing strategic content roadmaps for licensing and product development. Previous roles at LexisNexis included Director of Content Planning and Licensing for the Americas and AsiaPac, where Sonia oversaw strategic content decisions across continents, and as Chief Operating Officer at CARMA International, managing operations and partnership development. Sonia has a strong educational background with an MA in International Business/Policy Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and an Exec MBA from Tulane University.
