Jonas Campos is a PhD candidate at the ICVS - Life and Health Sciences Research Institute, focusing on the development of combined strategies using human Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSCs) secretome and nutritional interventions to promote spinal cord regeneration. With experience as a researcher in multidisciplinary projects, Jonas has conducted preclinical studies on stem cell therapies and central nervous system conditions. A visiting PhD student at the Blizard Institute, Jonas aims to deepen the understanding of spinal cord injury pathophysiology influenced by stem cell secretome therapy. Earlier academic accomplishments include a master's thesis on astrocyte signaling and a peer-reviewed publication.
