Abimael Jimenez

Commercial Property Surveyor at ID Plans

Abimael Jimenez has worked in various roles since 2011. Abimael began as a Fine Arts Teacher and Office Assistant for the TRIO Upward Bound Program in 2011. In 2013, they became a Student Advisor for The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In 2014, they held two positions: an Assistant Project Coordinator and Historic Building Inspector for the Office of Planning and Land-use Planning San Juan Autonomous Municipality, and a Graphic Illustrator and Research Technician for the Puerto Rico Planning Board. In 2015, they were an Architectural Designer and Building Inspector for the Puerto Rico Department of Housing (Office of Strategic Planning). In 2017, they were a Building Inspector and Insurance Adjuster for MAPFRE/ECM, LLC. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Field Inspector IV and Research Technician for ICF. Abimael is currently a Commercial Property Surveyor for ID Plans.

Abimael Jimenez completed a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design/Architecture from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras in 2016. During their time there, they also obtained a Certificate in Urban Studies from 2014 to 2016.
