Michael Salamey, MBA, SHRM-SCP has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and business operations. Michael began their career in 2011 as a District People Manager at Russell Cellular, where they managed 21 employees in multiple locations and was tapped to lead critical initiatives in leadership development and ensure effective workplace planning. In 2015, they returned to ID Plans as Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Director, where they drove culture and organizational change with a focus on scaling HR and People Operations teams. In 2019, they were recruited to TalkTime Store as Chief Operations Officer and Human Resources Business Partner and led strategic direction of 30 stores and over 70 employees with a $4M HR budget. In 2020, they joined Ultimate 3D Printing Store as Chief People Operations Officer, where they created and maintained partnerships with business leaders and workforces to design and implement solutions for Human Resources legal compliance, people operations strategy, leadership training and development, talent management, executive consulting, change management, and process auditing. Michael also acted as Chief Human Resources Officer from December 2020 to July 2021 and built HR processes and Data Analysis strategies leading to revenue increases of over $5M in the first two quarters. In 2022, they joined Jasper Health as Head of Human Resources and doubled the qualified applicant pool within the first 30 days through effective use of existing ATS, revision of position descriptions and postings for mobile applicants, and streamlined hiring process. Michael also met HIPAA and SOC2 compliance efforts by sourcing appropriate background checks process and identifying high liability issues with i9 reporting compliance. Michael is currently serving as Chief People Officer at ID Plans, where they are creating and executing People Strategy, overseeing compliance, engagement, and performance initiatives across a remote multinational organization, delivering tactical Human Resources (HR) oversight, compensation strategy, philosophy, benchmarking, career pathing, salary bands, and performance evaluation processes, and ensuring local, state, and federal compliance across the multinational remote organization, including i9 auditing, record keeping and disposal, and OSHA safety standards.

Michael Salamey, MBA, SHRM-SCP has a comprehensive education and certification history. Michael is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management at Western Governors University and is expected to graduate in 2022. Michael is also enrolled in a Master of Business Administration program at Western Governors University and is expected to graduate in 2023.
