Laural Nelson

Laural Nelson has extensive experience in the education field, holding various roles over the years. From 1990 to 2008, they worked in the Valley School District, starting as a Junior High Teacher and progressing to become a Principal and ultimately the Superintendent. In 2005, they joined the Idaho Digital Learning Academy as the Director of Supervision & Accountability until 2012, when they transitioned to become the Director of Education Programs. Since 2019, Laural has been serving as the Regional Coordinator for the Idaho Digital Learning Alliance.

Laural Nelson attended Valley High School from 1974 to 1978, but did not earn a degree or field of study during that time. Laural later pursued a Doctorate of Educational Administration at Idaho State University from 1987 to 1998.
