Shawn Hafer

Shawn Hafer has a diverse work experience in human resources and management roles. Shawn is currently the Director of Human Resources at Idaho Housing and Finance Association. Before that, they worked as the Director Area HR Operations at Sitel Group from 2017 to 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Market Human Resource Manager at Walmart from 2006 to 2017, overseeing HR functions for 10 local Walmart stores. Shawn also worked as an HR Manager at The Home Depot from 2000 to 2006, and as an HR Generalist at DIRECTV from 1997 to 2000.

Shawn Hafer obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Education from Boise State University, where they attended from 1990 to 1995. Additionally, Shawn Hafer obtained a certification in Efficient Time Management from LinkedIn in May 2023, and a Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute in August 2017.
