Lead Counsel at Idaho Power

Lisa Nordstrom has a diverse background in legal and regulatory roles. Lisa began their career as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney at Canyon County, where they handled a variety of criminal cases and represented the county in various legal proceedings. Lisa then moved on to work as a Deputy Attorney General at the Idaho Attorney General's office, specializing in the regulation of utilities. In this role, they represented the Idaho Public Utilities Commission and its staff in administrative proceedings and appeals. Lisa also gained experience as a Legal Counsel at PacifiCorp, where they focused on regulatory issues in multiple states and supervised outside counsel. Lisa later joined Idaho Power Company as Lead Counsel, representing the company in rate design and cost of service matters before state public utilities commissions. Throughout their career, Lisa has demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance, litigation, and legal document drafting.

Lisa Nordstrom has a diverse education history. Lisa attended Lewis & Clark Law School from 1994 to 1997 and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Prior to that, they studied at Northwest Nazarene University from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in International Studies. In 2010, Lisa completed the Utility Executive Course at the University of Idaho. Additionally, in 2013, they obtained certification from the Idaho State Bar's Idaho Academy of Leadership for Lawyers.
