Mary Alice Taylor, MPA, currently serves as a Regulatory Analyst at Idaho Power since December 2023. Previously, Mary Alice worked as an Energy and Environment Policy Analyst for the Association of Idaho Cities, where responsibilities included providing technical assistance, lobbying, and report writing. Prior experience includes serving as an Environmental Compliance Operator for Ada County, monitoring environmental factors, and as a Senator and Director of Philanthropy at the Associated Students of the University of Idaho, focusing on sustainability projects and fundraising. Mary Alice's early roles included a research internship at the McClure Center for Public Policy and multiple positions with AmeriCorps VISTA, as well as working as a lifeguard for the City of Boise. Educational credentials include a Master's in Public Administration and a graduate certificate in Policy Research from Boise State University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Economics from the University of Idaho, complemented by a minor in Spanish and an academic certificate in Climate Change.
