Giancarlo Vera Rivera is an experienced Information Technology professional currently serving as an Information Technology Officer at IDB Invest since June 2017. With a robust background in IT support and systems administration, Giancarlo has also held roles as an IT Support Consultant at IIC - Inter-American Investment Corporation and as an Information Systems Consultant in various departments of the Inter-American Development Bank. Notable contributions include the management of Oracle/Taleo systems and the successful design and deployment of a knowledge management system module. Giancarlo holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral.
