Leila Elli

Leila Elli has extensive experience in investment management and finance, currently serving as an Investment Officer at IDB Invest since January 2016. Previously, Leila held multiple roles at the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) from November 2007 to December 2015, including Investment Associate and Financial Analyst in Portfolio Management. Leila's early career included a Teaching Fellow position at Universidad Católica "Nuestra Señora de la Asunción" and a Research Fellow role within the Debt and Investment Division at IIC. Interning at the Inter-American Development Bank in the Modernization of State department marked the start of Leila's professional journey. Academically, Leila holds a Master of Science in Finance and a Financial Management Certificate from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Asunción, where Leila graduated with highest honors as valedictorian.
