Gerald Hofmann

Gerald Hofmann has extensive experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. Gerald currently serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors at WorkStep since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at IDC Logistics starting from January 2022. From February 2016 to September 2021, Gerald held the position of Senior Vice President in the Contract Logistics Division at Yusen Logistics (Americas), Inc. Before that, they had various roles at Panalpina, including Senior Vice President Logistics USA, Country Logistics Solutions Manager USA, and SVP Supply Chain Management France / Head of Automotive-Manufacturing Market Line. Gerald also gained experience at GEFCO as a Global Sourcing Logistics Project Manager and Corporate Contract Logistics Business Manager. Earlier in their career, Gerald worked as a Logistics Engineer at DHL and held managerial positions at DAHER as Warehouse Manager Automotive Operations, Logistics Solution Analyst, and Logistics Control Tower Manager.

Gerald Hofmann has a diverse education history in the field of Supply Chain Management. In 1993, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from IUT De Mulhouse, specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Gerald furthered their education with a Master's degree from CERELOG Metz between 1995 and 1997, focusing on the same field. Later on, in 2006 and 2007, they pursued an Executive Master's Degree in Global Supply Chain Management from École des Ponts Business School.
