Javier Contreras has a long and varied work history. Starting in 2009, they were an Intern at Chispa Marketing, where they were responsible for finding and contacting candidates, portraits and interviewing alumni for the "I AM MDC" (Miami Dade College) Campaign. In 2010, they worked as a Sales Associate at International Exhibitors, where they cold-called prospective clients for the Christmas sales show. Also in 2010, they were a Store Attendant at MotorSport Boutique, where they served as a sales representative, coordinated online sales and shipping, and managed inventory. In 2011, they worked at Comserma SA as an Operations Manager and Assistant Marketing Manager. In this role, they developed office equipment & service packages, worked with accounting teams, analyzed and executed payroll, bonuses and benefit adjustments, updated and managed the company's webpage, social media, branding and advertising, and prepared training material for salespeople. In 2014, they became the Owner of Impressio LLC. Finally, in 2018, they began working at Idea Financial as a Culture Manager and Executive Assistant. In this role, they served as Office Manager for Miami and Richmond locations, conducted introductory interviews for all departments, created and automated email journeys, served as the main point of contact for office with building, vendors in both Miami and Richmond locations, and prepared travel arrangements for the CEO, President and employees.

Javier Contreras obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Florida International University between 2005 and 2009, majoring in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
