Ankith Shantha Kumar

Ankith Shantha Kumar is an experienced engineer currently working at ideaForge since September 2017, where roles include Engineer II - Mechanical Systems and previously Engineer - Mechanical Design. Prior to ideaForge, Ankith served as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, contributing to the Michigan Bicentennial Archive (M-BARC) project focused on orbital mechanics and propulsion for a space-based time capsule. Ankith's early experience includes a traineeship at Goltens India Pvt Ltd, where hands-on training involved engine mechanics and parts functionality. Ankith holds a Master of Engineering in Space Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bradford.
