Sara Heiner Asplund

Sara Heiner Asplund has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sara currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at IDEAL OF SWEDEN since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member at Smartoptics starting from May 2022. From September 2017, they have been the Owner of HEINER ASPLUND CONSULTING AB. Sara also held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Svea Solar from July 2021 to April 2023. In addition, they have served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Outpost24 from May 2021 to June 2022. From April 2019 to June 2021, they worked as the Finance Director and later as CFO at Plantagen/Plantasjen. Sara has also worked as the Chief Financial Officer at 24Storage AB from October 2017 to March 2019 and at Nalka from April 2017 to September 2017. Sara'searlier experiences include working at Nordic Choice Hotels as the Chief Financial Officer of Strawberry Properties from November 2015 to May 2017 and as the Head of Group Financial Control & Finance Manager Sweden from August 2012 to November 2015. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Business Control Sweden at Proffice from June 2010 to August 2012.

Sara Heiner Asplund studied at Stockholm University from 1998 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Ekonomie kandidatexamen (ek.kand.) in the field of Bokföring och finans. From 1995 to 2000, they also attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they studied Industriell ekonomi.
