Karem Planas has extensive experience in marketing, communications, and operations, currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at Ideas Collide since September 2018, where responsibilities include the management of custom nurture strategies and supervision of Account Managers. Prior experience at Mulgrave School as Marketing and Communications Manager led to significant growth in student applications through innovative digital marketing strategies. Karem has held various roles in public relations, including Public Relations Manager at DDB Public Relations, where project management yielded substantial media coverage, and as Founder of Buzz Strategies, a PR and marketing firm. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Boston University and a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management from Vancouver Community College.
