Chris Hale

Director, Partnerships at Ideas United

Chris Hale is currently the Director of Partnerships at Ideas United. Prior to this, they worked as the Regional Coordinator for the Medellin office of the Organization of American States from August 2009 to January 2013. In this role, they were responsible for creating and coordinating the office work program, setting strategic regional priorities for field work, and representing the OAS mission as lead regional delegate. Chris has also worked as a Consultant for the Government Services Department at Eurasia Group and as a Teaching Associate in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Georgetown University.

Chris Hale has a Master's degree in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, with a focus in Latin American Studies. They also have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Political Science from Colby College. Lastly, they are certified by the National Board of Certified Medical Interpreters in Medical Interpretation.
