Jeremy Barofsky has a diverse work experience in research and evaluation. Jeremy worked as the Vice President of Applied Research and Evaluation at ideas42 starting from January 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Non-Resident Fellow in Governance Studies at The Brookings Institution in 2016. From 2014 to 2015, they were an Okun-Model Fellow at The Brookings Institution. Jeremy also worked as a Post Doctoral Research Scholar at the University of Southern California from 2012 to 2014. Jeremy started their professional career as a Microcredit Loan Officer in the Americorps VISTA Program at Accion from September 2003 to August 2004. Jeremy holds a Masters Fellowship from Harvard University, where they studied from June 2005 to August 2007.

Jeremy Barofsky has a strong educational background in the field of economics and global health. Jeremy began their education in 1999 at Boston University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Public Policy. Jeremy successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2003.

In 2004, Jeremy furthered their academic journey by enrolling in Boston University to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Economics. Jeremy successfully completed this program in 2005.

Seeking to expand their knowledge and expertise, Jeremy then attended Harvard University from 2007 to 2012. During this time, they pursued a Doctor of Science degree in Global Health with a concentration in Economics. Jeremy completed their doctoral studies, focusing on the intersection of global health and economics, at Harvard University in 2012.
