Rachel Rood is an experienced media professional with a strong background in broadcast journalism and production. Currently, Rachel serves as the Supervising Producer for the "Sound of Ideas," the flagship morning public affairs program at Ideastream Public Media, a role that follows previous positions as Coordinating Producer and Producer for the same show. Prior experience includes roles at NPR as a Production Assistant and Weekend Intern, producing content for "All Things Considered." Rachel's earlier roles involved production assistance at AARP and editing positions with Half Yard Productions and the National Association of Home Builders. Rachel earned a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from American University and a BFA in Film from Rochester Institute of Technology.
