Gnan Gowda

Gnan Gowda has an extensive work experience in the field of information security and product management. Gnan currently holds the position of Vice President & Chief Information Security Officer at IDEMIA, where they have been working since 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Product Security Officer - SaaS, Cloud at IDEMIA from 2020 to 2022.

Before joining IDEMIA, Gnan worked at Genesys as a Senior Director, Global Security from 2019 to 2020. Gnan also has experience working at COFENSE as the Director of Product Management (Phishing & Security Awareness) from 2017 to 2018.

Furthermore, Gnan has held positions at Entrust as the Director of Product Management (IAM & PKI) from 2011 to 2017, EiQ Networks as the Head of Product Management (Security Operations & SIEM) from 2010 to 2011, Secureworks in Product Management (Security Operations & SIEM) from 2007 to 2010, PTC as a Product Manager (Application Security, IAM) from 2006 to 2007, and RSA Security as a Senior Software Engineer (IAM & MFA) from 2001 to 2006.

Gnan Gowda holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from Bentley University, completed in 2006. Gnan also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Mysore. Additionally, they have certifications including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, obtained in 2021, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², obtained in 2012.
