Melanie Hassell

Melanie Hassell serves as the Head of Project Delivery at Identity since November 2025, previously holding similar roles at Smyle from December 2017 to October 2025 and as Head of Events. Prior experience includes serving as Operations Director at innovision, where responsibilities included managing annual events and overseeing team output from September 2013 to December 2017. Melanie founded Pure Vision Events in September 2005, providing conference management services and leading a team in event delivery until September 2013. Prior to this, Melanie was the Head of Conference and Event Management at the NHS Modernisation Agency from July 2000 to July 2005, managing a £10 million budget and a team of 14. Early experience includes working as the Event & Community Investment Manager at NatWest Mortgages from 1996 to 2000, where event management and community engagement were key focuses. Education was completed at St Thomas More RC Nuneaton from 1987 to 1991.
