Juliet Mukunga

In her role as an Interaction Designer in IDEO.org's Nairobi Studio, Juliet employs design thinking to understand the needs and constraints of individuals and their communities and designs resonants interactions that increase connection and access. She enjoys making products and services that are useful, joyful, and meaningful to use.

Prior to joining IDEO.Org, Juliet worked as an Experience Designer at Marathon where she partnered with cross-functional teams to improve existing value propositions and design new products and services. She worked closely in designing with and for organizations in retail, hospitality, fin-tech, education, real estate, energy (LPG), and logistics (last-mile) across Africa.

Juliet honed her skills through IDEO.org’s Design Kit, Systems Practice by Acumen, and Strategic Business Thinking from Second Wave Dive. In her free time, she loves to explore the great outdoors on hikes and long walks—especially in the wild savannah plains.
