Deniz Cengiz

Deniz Cengiz is a Senior Design Researcher at IDEO since July 2021, focusing on co-design, community-led design, and equitable research practices across various industries such as healthcare, climate, education, and technology. Previous roles include Design Researcher at IDEO, Co-Instructor for Social Impact at Payda Platformu, Co-Founder and Design Thinking Fellow at the University of Rochester, and Community Liaison at the University of Rochester Center for Community Engagement. Deniz has extensive experience in mentoring, leading design thinking workshops, and enhancing community engagement. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology, Technology and Historical Structures, and a Certificate of Achievement in Community-Engaged Learning, all from the University of Rochester.
