Vlad Lavrovsky

Vlad Lavrovsky has gained significant work experience in various roles and companies. Vlad is currently serving as the Director of Hardware Engineering at Ideon Technologies since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at TZOA, where they held multiple positions including CTO and Director of Engineering Innovation. In these roles, they supported hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams, investigated emerging technologies, developed product roadmaps, and managed the manufacturing pipeline. Vlad was also responsible for recruitment of technical talent and research into supporting technologies.

Before TZOA, Vlad was a CDL West Cohort Member at Creative Destruction Lab from January 2017 to March 2021. Additionally, they worked at MistyWest as an Engineering Project Manager and Hardware Developer, focusing on firmware, software, and hardware development for embedded systems. Vlad also worked on electromechanical and lighting systems and scaled electronics manufacturing for clients.

Vlad Lavrovsky co-founded Synthesia and served as the CTO from January 2013 to March 2016. Vlad also gained experience as a Science Analyst at Stonecracker Scientific Legal Network, where they analyzed technical and scientific works, prepared technical documentation, and resolved client inquiries related to SR&ED tax credits.

Furthermore, they worked as a Software Developer at Conversion Works, where they developed asset management systems and debugged 3D production workflow software. Throughout their career, Vlad has demonstrated expertise in hardware engineering, firmware development, product roadmap planning, talent recruitment, and technical analysis.

Vlad Lavrovsky pursued their education from 2004 to 2008 at the University of Calgary, where they obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree. During this time, they focused on biomathematics, bioinformatics, and computational biology as their field of study.
