Justin Munson

Justin Munson has over 20 years of experience in product engineering and management roles. Justin is currently working as the Director of Product Engineering at IDEX Biometrics since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Analog Devices for a total of 19 years. At Analog Devices, they served as the Product Engineering Manager for the Autonomous Transportation and Safety LIDAR Organization from September 2017 to October 2019. Justin also held the position of MEMs Evaluation Manager from September 2015 to September 2017. In addition, they were the Product Engineering Manager from March 2008 to September 2015, where they managed a team of junior product engineers and PCB layout engineers, provided technical mentoring, and supervised project progress. Before joining Analog Devices, Justin worked as a Research Engineer at BIODE Inc. from 1996 to 2000, where they contributed to the design, construction, and testing of fluid phase acoustic wave sensors for biological and chemical sensing applications.

Justin Munson completed their education in chronological order. Justin first earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Maine from 1992 to 1996. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution, which they completed from 1996 to 1999. After a gap in their educational pursuits, from 2012 to 2014, Justin attended MIT Sloan School of Management where they obtained an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership.
