Tom Mackin

Tom Mackin has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Tom began their career at Eastman Kodak in 1980, where they served as Chief Engineer for over 26 years until 2007. Following this, they joined National Semiconductor as an Applications Manager from 2007 to 2009. Tom then moved to Synaptics Incorporated, where they held the role of Director, Technology Marketing for almost a decade, from 2009 to 2018. Presently, they work as a Senior Director of Display Integration at IDEX Biometrics, starting from August 2018.

Tom Mackin began their education in 1980 at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1983. Tom furthered their studies at the same institution from 1991 to 1993, obtaining a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in the same field of study. Tom then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering and Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management from 1999 to 2002.
