Tuck Poon

Tuck Poon has a diverse range of work experience in the field of engineering, starting in 2001. Tuck began their career at Sony Semiconductor & Devices Europe as a Design Engineer and worked there until 2004. Following this, they joined Cambridge Consultants Ltd as a Senior Design Engineer for two years. In 2006, they became a Principal Design Engineer at Mirics Ltd and remained in that role until 2011. Tuck then joined DNA Electronics as an IC Design Engineer until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Atmel Corporation as a System Architect. Currently, Tuck Poon is working at IDEX Biometrics. Tuck first took on the role of Principal Engineer, System Design from 2017 and is currently serving as the Senior Director, Applications Engineering starting from March 2022.

Tuck Poon completed a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Information Sciences from the University of Cambridge from 1997 to 2001. Tuck Poon has also obtained two edX Honor Code Certificates, one for Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science and another for Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python.
