Joel Sequeira

Joel Sequeira has over 13 years of work experience with a focus on product management and consulting. Joel is currently the Director of Product Management at IDology, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, Joel worked at IDology as a Senior Product Manager from February 2020 to April 2022, and as a Product Manager from January 2017 to February 2020. Before joining IDology, they worked at VMware AirWatch as a Product Manager from September 2013 to January 2017, and as a Software Consultant from April 2013 to September 2013. Joel also has experience in consulting, having worked as a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from February 2012 to April 2013. Joel started their career as a Summer Scholar at Deloitte in the Information Technology Department of the Global Benchmarking Center from June 2011 to December 2011. Joel holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2010 to May 2011. Joel also worked as a Student during their time at Georgia Tech. Additionally, Joel has experience working as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where they supported a document management tool and managed a team from 2008 to 2010.

Joel Sequeira holds a Master's degree in Quantitative and Computational Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Joel has also obtained several certifications. Joel completed the "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" course from Coursera in August 2020. In July 2020, they also completed the "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" course from the same institution. Further, Joel earned the "Pragmatic Marketing Certified – Level III (PMC-III)" certification from Pragmatic Marketing in July 2016. In October 2015, they obtained the "Certified Scrum Product Owner" certification from the Scrum Alliance.
