Julien Grimont

Julien Grimont is a highly experienced scientist specializing in NMR and medicinal chemistry, currently serving as Scientist NMR and Principal Scientific Associate at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd since June 2017. With a robust background in leading interdisciplinary teams and delivering customized NMR solutions, Julien has made significant contributions to various research departments through the synthesis and optimization of building blocks and reference compounds. Previously, Julien held multiple roles at Actelion, where responsibilities included presenting original research, supporting medicinal chemistry teams, and leading the synthesis of Ponesimod. Julien's early career included internships at Roche, where valuable experience in analytical and organic chemistry was gained. Julien holds an MSc in Organic Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Mulhouse, complemented by foundational education in preparatory classes for higher education.
