Martine Gehin

Martine Gehin has extensive work experience in the field of clinical pharmacology. Martine currently holds the position of VP, Head Clinical Pharmacology at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd, where they have been since February 2023. Prior to this role, Martine worked as a Senior Clinical Pharmacologist and Director at the same company starting in April 2019. Martine joined Idorsia Pharmaceuticals in June 2017 as a Project Clinical Pharmacologist and Associate Director.

Before joining Idorsia Pharmaceuticals, Martine worked at Actelion starting in January 2010. Martine held various positions during their tenure, including Project Clinical Pharmacologist, Associate Director from April 2016 to June 2017, Project Clinical Pharmacologist from April 2014 to April 2016, and Clinical Pharmacologist from January 2010 to April 2014. At Actelion, Martine was responsible for phase 1 clinical trials, clinical pharmacology-related activities, and the development of the Clinical Development Plan for assigned compounds.

Prior to Actelion, Martine worked at MT3D (CRO) as a Clinical Project Leader from 2007 to January 2010. Martine led phase 1 studies and was involved in the writing and review of study-related documents. Martine also worked at Transgene as a Scientist in 2006 and at CareX as Head of HTS Platform and Project Leader from 2002 to 2006.

Martine Gehin received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Genetics from the University Louis Pasteur Strasbourg in 2001. Martine also obtained a DIU-FIEC in clinical trial for Investigator from the same university, although the specific dates are not provided.
