Henry Yam

Henry Yam has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Henry started their career in 1991 as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Queen Mary Hospital, where they worked in the Clinical Immunology department of the Pathology department. In 1993, they joined Bio-Rad Laboratories as an Area Sales Manager in the Life Science Group until 1996.

In 2004, Henry Yam founded BioScan Ltd., a company for which they also served as the CEO. Three years later, in 2007, they founded another company called AirTec Medical Ltd., where they also held the position of CEO.

In 2019, Henry Yam joined IDS Medical Systems (idsMED) as the Director of Medical Solutions. Henry worked in this role until March 2021 when they transitioned to the position of Sales Director, a role they currently hold.

In 2020, they also became an Executive Board Member of the Hong Kong Medical & Healthcare Device Industries Association.

Throughout their career, Henry Yam has demonstrated their expertise in the medical and healthcare industry, with experience in sales, management, and entrepreneurship.

Henry Yam has a Master's degree in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, which they completed from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology, Neuroanatomy & Neuroendocrinology from the University of Adelaide, which they completed from 1987 to 1990. Before attending university, they completed their GCE at Cambridge Tutor UK in 1984 and their HKCEE at Wah Yan College Hong Kong from 1979 to 1984.
