Megan Kenyon has always been interested in helping others and protecting the environment. Megan started their career as a field engineer with Envirotech, Inc., working on various environmental remediation projects in New Mexico and Colorado. There, they monitored and analyzed groundwater wells at pollution sites, responded to oil and chemical spills, and designed storm water pollution prevention plans for gas and oil well sites.

In August 2005, Megan Kenyon began working as an engineer for Professional Consultants, Inc. There they worked on residential and commercial infrastructure projects. Megan designed water supply systems, wastewater treatment systems, and drainage facilities; prepared construction plans with AutoCAD; and prepared reports for regulatory approval from various government agencies. Megan also bid out construction projects and prepared and administered contracts.

Megan Kenyon’s experience as an engineer has given their a strong foundation for their current position as the Day Student Coordinator & Student Operations Administrative Assistant at Idyllwild Arts. In this role, they are responsible for coordinating the activities of the day students, as well as assisting with student operations and administrative tasks.

Megan Kenyon received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of New Mexico. Megan is currently working as a civil engineer.
