Chen Wang is a founder of the Spatial AI & Robotics Lab and PyPose, an open-source library for differentiable robotics. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo, Chen Wang also holds positions as Associate Editor for The International Journal of Robotics Research and IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, along with Area Chair for the IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition. Chen Wang's educational background includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and a PhD in Robot Perception and Machine Learning from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, following a Bachelor's degree in Robotics and Automation Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology.
