Beatriz Camacho Ávila

Beatriz Camacho Ávila, PhD, serves as the Associate Director and Manager at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center at IESE Business School since December 2022. Previously, Beatriz contributed to Climate-KIC as a member of the Cross-KIC Strategic Regional Innovations Working Group and served as the Ecosystem Manager for the Regional Innovation Scheme in Southern Europe. In 2021, Beatriz participated as a Fellow in the Aspen Institute's Nextgen Network, focusing on transatlantic relations and global challenges. Academic experience includes professorship and research roles in Political Science at the University of Valencia, along with visiting researcher positions at Georgetown University, University Carlos III Madrid, and the London School of Economics and Political Science. Beatriz holds a PhD in Human Rights, Democracy, and International Justice and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, both from the University of Valencia.
