Nicolas Linares

Nicolas Linares has extensive experience in finance and education, currently serving as Program Director for Executive Education Custom Programs and as a Learning Innovation Unit Mentor at IESE Business School since January 2017. Previously, Nicolas held the role of Director de Medios at COLDENERGY from December 2020 to September 2022, and was Managing Director at Intermoney SA from September 2012 to November 2014, where responsibilities included strategic oversight and project execution. Nicolas also served as ALM Treasurer and a member of the Executive Committee at Barclays Bank Spain and Portugal from January 2008 to September 2012, managing balance sheet risks across several countries. Earlier career roles include ALM Treasury Front Office Director at Barclays Spain, Head of Bond Trading & Derivatives at Credit Agricole Indosuez, and Head of Technical Analysis at Bancapital. Nicolas holds an Economics Degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and has completed executive education programs at IESE Business School and in Management & Leadership.
