Mariana Cabeça

Mariana Cabeça has a diverse work experience. Currently, they are working as an Emotional Support Specialist and Clinical Psychologist at ifeel, an organization focused on emotional well-being for modern organizations. In this role, they offer online consultations to help patients on their paths of self-knowledge.

Prior to their current position, Mariana worked as a Cultural Producer for the Government of the State of São Paulo. Mariana was involved in organizing the "Tudo Nosso" cultural festival, which will take place in May 2023 in various schools. Mariana also worked as a Writer and Cultural Producer for the same organization, where they contributed to promoting culture and art through the ProAC 41/2022 program.

Mariana has also gained experience as a Psychologist in their private practice, specializing in serving the LGBTQIA+ community, women, and racialized individuals. Their remote counseling services are supplemented with in-person therapeutic support.

Additionally, Mariana founded Jornalzine, an independent newspaper project aimed at confronting and addressing racism.

Earlier in their career, Mariana served as a scholarship holder at the Incubadora de Cooperativas Populares Unesp Assis and as a Clinical Psychology Intern at UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho." During their internship, they provided free psychological assistance to the community.

Lastly, they worked as a scholarship intern at the Secretaria Municipal da Educação, where they assisted teachers on a part-time basis.

Mariana Cabeça has a comprehensive education history in the field of Psychology. Mariana obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Mariana continued their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Universidade de São Paulo, from 2022 to 2025.

In addition to their academic degrees, Mariana has also obtained certifications in various relevant fields. In February 2022, they completed the certification course on "Tópicos Especiais em Sociologia III - Racismo e Branquitude" from PPG em Sociologia UFC. Prior to that, in December 2021, they participated in a seminar on Psychoanalysis at the Centro de Estudos Psicanalíticos. In November 2021, Mariana attended the I Congresso Internacional Lélia Gonzalez organized by PPG em Educação da FURG. Lastly, in September 2021, they completed the certification course as a Cultural Producer at the Instituto Tomie Ohtake, focusing on the project "Somos Muitas!"

Moreover, Mariana pursued further specialization in Psychoanalysis at the Polo Terapretas of the Ordem Nacional de Psicanalistas, where they studied from 2022 to 2024, earning the title of Psicanalista.
